Download Nvidia Drivers Windows 8.1
It seems the issue with Nvidia have been reported a lot, at least when 8.1 was first released, but I have been unable to resolve it. I don't see reports of the other issue though, with the drivers provided by Windows Update. Any help is appreciated! I have uninstalled all video card drivers, to the best of my knowledge, and am running my computer with the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter (so minimum resoltuon and awful quality, but it's something). There had been no Windows Updates immediately prior to the crash. There were some a few days prior, but I was using my computer heavily between then and the crash with no issues. I tried reinstalling both the Microsoft driver for my card and the Nvidia driver, at separate times, in safe mode. I tried it a lot of times.

Hi, Since you used third party software to remove driver files from the computer. The third party software might have corrupted Windows 8.1 registry or system files.

Hello - I'm looking for some help with Windows 8.1 drivers for Nvidia GeForce 9800GT. I have been using the drivers for this card provided by Windows Update for a couple weeks (since I installed Windows 8.1). They worked fine, until a couple days ago when I started getting BSODs with the error VIDEO_SCHEDULER_INTERNAL_ERROR. I get that error within a few minutes of booting the system. No other Windows Updates occurred right before this started. If I try to use the drivers from the Nvidia website, I get a black screen with the mouse cursor blinking as soon as the drivers are installed. I tried multiple versions, latest stable, older stable, latest beta.

Secondly, which driver did you download? I remember searching for the latest driver on the nVidia website, but using the auto-detect function downloaded a different one, that did work. Don't use the Lenovo site - they haven't really updated the drivers on their site to work with 8.1 (though some of the drivers that work in 8 also work in 8.1) Hope that helps! The 8007000D error may indicate component store corruption which may have occurred from the upgrade: Try the following: Start > type cmd.exe and then right-click cmd.exe and select 'Run as administrator' Then at the command prompt type the following (you can copy and paste) and press 'Enter': DISM.exe /Online /cleanup-image /scanhealth When that finishes, at the command prompt type the following (you can copy and paste) and press 'Enter': DISM.exe /Online /cleanup-image /Restorehealth When that finishes restart the computer. Not only on the outlook page, but on other Microsoft related websites too. Closing the browser and reopening has no effect - until I delete the history etc trying to revisit those pages crashes the browser.
